DCM Services for Employer Groups
Although a large portion of our clients are “walk in clients” serviced by our network of 300 offices and accredited Debt Counsellors nationwide, the most effective service is rendered within employer groups.
Financial Fitness training program
This one day course not only compliments the debt restructuring process by serving as a induction course that will prepare the candidates for the process to financial stability, but also equips the not so over indebted (not requiring debt restructuring) with a basic understanding as to how to change or review their way of dealing with Credit as a whole. This course is not limited to a specific income grouping as the subjects and discussions are relevant to all who attend.
Our suggestion would be that all employees with garnishee orders obtained against them as well as those applying for debt review should attend this one day course. Please see the attached information on “Managing your personal finances”
Claiming of cost of training for “Credit bearing training”
Should the training program “Managing Your Personal Finances” form part of your Workplace Skills Plan, Employers can claim back 50% to 60% of the cost of the workshop, per individual, from INSETA. Claims can only be done after the successful submission of Employer’s annual training report. The learners will receive a certificate with 6 credits from INSETA.
Live well Training Institute and DCM certificate
All learners attending the workshop will receive an attendance certificate whether they do the Portfolio of Evidence or not. The Employer’s logo will appear on the certificate.

The service offered also ensures that over committed and garnished employees are not further exploited with undue costs and interest charges.
Administration of Garnishee Orders
DCM will be tasked with the full administration of garnishee orders on behalf of the Employers Payroll Department. This service will include the uploading of all garnishee information on the GAS (Garnishee administration system).
This service will include the pre- validation of all newly delivered garnishee orders, the uploading and calculation of interest charges and legal fees charged by attorneys and debt collectors.
DCM will interface with the Employers Payroll Department on a monthly basis providing all the necessary information required to effect correct payment and distribution to affected creditors.
